Indeed, 20 years later, Tracie’s life is still making a difference through the Tracie Joy McBride Scholarship Fund, which was established in 2007 for the purpose of providing scholastic scholarships to women across Minnesota who embody the characteristics Tracie was best known for.  Over $20,000 in scholarships have been awarded to women who truly understand the essence of leading a life marked by quality.  These women uphold a life of integrity and character.  They  invest time and energy into their talents and use their talents to be a blessing.  They embody a true servant’s heart investing countless hours into individuals and their communities to improve the quality of life for their fellow citizens.  They simply radiate joy in all they do as they recognize that true gift of life and how blessed they are to be a blessing.  

Scholarships Awarded

The Tracie Joy McBride Quality of Life and Teens in Action scholarships, honor well-rounded servant leaders who display commitment to service work (beyond platform pursuits) and who live with integrity, humility and character. These scholarships honor the young women who have made service and blessing others their life’s mission, not just their pageant mission.

An annual scholarship awarded to honor teens in who understand the essence of leading a life marked by quality as they uphold a life of integrity and character, invest time and energy into their talents to serve as a blessing, embody a true servant’s heart investing countless hours into individuals and their communities to improve the quality of life for their fellow citizens, and radiate joy in all they do as they recognize the true gift of life and how blessed they are to be a blessing.

Missions Scholarship

An annual scholarship awarded to honor a woman of faith who is living with exemplary character and has a purpose to spread the good news of Christ on the mission field either through a short term or long term missions trip.

Private Tracie Joy McBride Memorial Scholarship

An annual scholarship awarded to honor a female family member of a fallen soldier who has lived with exemplary character and with a purpose to use their life in service while honoring the legacy of their lost loved one.

CHS Legacy Scholarship

An annual scholarship awarded to honor a young woman from Tracie’s alma mater, Centennial High School, who lives with exemplary character, radiates joy and acceptance within the school environment, and who has found purpose in making service a key part of her teen years.
